The investigation of the Sushant Singh Rajput death case is getting mysterious with each passing day. As the investigation progresses, new questions stand before the agencies. The Enforcement Directorate investigation further complicates matters with the release of drugs.
The CBI is now looking for answers to the question as to whom the drugs were being mixed in Sushant's coffee or Riya Chakraborty himself was doing so on his own free will. Riya's interactions with her colleagues point to both these aspects.
Indeed, the Enforcement Directorate's internal report mentions a chemical compound CBD (Cannabidiol), which originates from marijuana. The use of this compound after a certain concentration is prohibited. The report states that Riya Chakraborty acquired the compound to mix Sushant Singh Rajput's coffee. These things have been said in the internal documents of the Enforcement Directorate handed over by the news agency IANS.
After this disclosure, the direction of the investigation of the Sushant Singh Rajput case has changed. The internal notes of the ED stated that Riya had been taking this narcotic substance since 2017. Investigation agencies have also come to know that Riya's close associate and Sushant House Manager Samuel Miranda was also aware that it was added to Sushant's food. Apart from this, the CBI and ED from Riya and Samuel are also investigating the case of illegally obtaining and using the passwords of Sushant's debit cards.
On August 6, the investigation of the Sushant case went to the CBI on the recommendation of the Bihar government by order of the central government. Sushant's father KK Singh had the report lodged at Patna's Rajin Nagar police station. The Mumbai Police questioned many people in this case but did not register any FIR.
